I was unaware of this company. Seems like it would be useful for test-driving lenses before purchasing.

Lensrentals.com is a very reputable equipment rental firm. Numerous photographers on various sites are more than happy with them...as am I. I used them to try out a new lens offering from Canon. Now all I have to do is come up with the money to buy one! They check and test every piece of gear when it comes back, and are fully qualified to make repairs as needed. I may just buy a used one from them someday knowing it's been thoroughly inspected and tested before they sell it.

It's also quite likely that lacking funds, I may rent the lens again this December for a shoot I have.
