Yep, Consumer Reports took the Surface off its recommended list. Poor reliability.

The Surface was one of the offerings at my employer's refresh. I selected it, but by the time I got a new machine, IT got rid of all that were in use. Reliability plus people just didn't like it.

I'm getting an iPad Pro as soon as I can.

Thank goodness my Surface Pro 3 doesn't have that problem. All I have to worry about is the removable keyboard not being recognized every five minutes, which is another common problem with these. My next laptop will be...something other than a Surface.
