Bob Date: 02/11/19 22:08 Re: Cell Phone Railfan Author: MojaveBill I have a Nikon D90 but i frequently use my IPhone 7 for pix I've had published in newspapers.
The biggest mistake I see with phones is people holding them vertically, after a lifetime of viewing TV, movies, and most photos in a horizontal format. I use my cell for now to get pics in the winter until I get my equipment. I will be using a Nikon DSLR for my rail photography, as I feel using a DSLR I have better control. You know what theys say, the best camera is the one you have with you. But I did also just upgrade one of my cameras to one with Bluetooth. It has made a huge difference in that I can simply transfer photos I choose from my camera to my phone very quickly and post them up on social media. Bluetooth is a game changer for me.
