Has anyone ordered the latest Apple laptops with the M3 chip-?  They sound impressive -

I acquired a first year mac pro trash can and upgraded it to 6 core Xeon, 128gig ram and 2TB SSD....it runs comparably to modern macs...total outlay around 600 dollars. Don't buy new when you can soup up an older one. And yes I can run Monterey...because I know how.....looking for better GPU cards....they are not hard to find but hard to pay for. 

but, but, I like to give Apple a lot of money, just because.    ;-)

Yes, they do. Sometimes, I miss the days of my Mac PowerBook 140 and SE/30. When the SE/30 was new, I could run the OS, Word and Excel on 4 *megabytes* of RAM. Simpler times ...

I'll stick with my Windows PC for now, because I know how to use it.   I just crossed over from the dark side (Android) and bought an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max and at times am struggling to master it.   Should have done it younger when my brain still worked.  Bought it mainly for the camera, but wonder if I should have bought the latest, greatest Samsung?
They both cost enough to feed the Bolivian Army for a day.

So does this mean that our AI Overlords are going to enslave the human race faster??
