The other end of the hauler. UP 6171, another three windowed beauty, reflects in the rain pond in March of 2004. (Thirty second exposure)

A ribbon rail train spent the night at Basta (Fullerton, California) back in March. A surfliner streatks by during the thirty seconds of exposure.

The sun sets on this light power duo as the crew on the ground prepares to pull baretables out the ballpark siding between Fullerton and Basta.

Anaheim, I was just at Disney Land today..I'm currently in Beverly Hills but as we drove along on 5 just before Disney Land Drive, the first exit, noticed a lot of parked rail cars along the highway..was this part of a yard? Also as we drove back north on 5 towards 10 and then THE 405..*can't get used to THE in front of every hwy in LA*, noticed the same rails behind a lot of businesses and warehouses..what line is this???

Also think I saw parts of Union Station...saw a big DHL building and lots of rails on both sides of the river...if I can swing it, I'm heading hopefully out to Tehachapi on Saturday..KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!!

Yeah, that is the storage for the Anaheim "yard"; there are two sidings along the Santa Ana Freeway between Euclid and Brookhurst. One is "Long Pass" and the other siding is called "The Extention". I think the original yard is now under a self-storage business. I am sure Myford Browning or SteveD could tell tales of the history of the yard and surrounding area.
