Canadian Railroads > Central Maine & Quebec in the snow.Date: 12/15/17 04:53 Central Maine & Quebec in the snow. Author: kgmontreal Following a major snowstorm on Tuesday southern Quebec is blanketed in crisp white snow. With temperatures at -15C yesterday there was no chance for melting which would have dirtied the snow. CMQ put on a good show at Farnham yesterday with #1 arriving and a Farnham to Sherbrooke freight heading east.
Our first shots were #1 arriving Farnham. Then 3817 and 9011 departed. They were shot at Fulford and Eastman. Ken Goslett Date: 12/15/17 05:04 Re: Central Maine & Quebec in the snow. Author: Milepost_130 Really lovely! Thanks for sharing.

It was 35F here the other day and that was cold to me (and I spend 1/4 of my life in an ice rink...) Date: 12/15/17 07:40 Re: Central Maine & Quebec in the snow. KG Date: 12/15/17 11:46 Re: Central Maine & Quebec in the snow. Author: boejoe The color scheme on the CM&Q units almost looks like camouflage for that type weather.

I am puking with envy; since I shot in fire smoke on the Wainwright July 19, I've taken one other train photo on an opportunity crossing CN near Uncas. It has not been a good year for the hobby, with life circumstances, and what was a cruddy summer weather-wise.
