Steam & Excursion > Snowy Steamy Saturday PM 1225 Shots

This is the last weekend of PM 1225 and the 'Polar
Express' to Ashley, MI. The first two shots are
right in town on Chestnut Street, and the second
is out at Smith Road.

We've got one more day of running, and then this show
is over until next November.

Love these photos! The second an d third are simply
gorgeous!! Definite IOTD candidates! I LOVE the
clouds of condensing steam around the locomotive --
she looks as though she is emerging from some wonderful
and mysterious and magical place.

In Photo #2, your composition is superb -- the thin
and bare branches of the tree on the left contrast
beautifully with the massive black locomotive who
rightfully dominates the image, surrounded by clouds
of condensing steam, like royal robes.

Well done!! VERY VERY well done!!
