Why?  Is there a 3 target signal at the diversion.

3 heads are needed to indicate medium or limited speed at the switch.  A 2-head signal can only indicate slow or diverging (with a DV plate).  CP uses the CROR rulebook.  You might be more familiar with UCOR?

Spences Bridge.  At that point you're actually on the Thompson River, not the Fraser.  The Thompson
flows into the Fraser at Lytton , a little over 20 miles downstream...

The second shot is at east switch Drynoch, about to head under the TransCanada Highway.

Very nice, but is a single car on that train less than 90 years old ?

Good question.  Here's another:  What's the status of the Funits today?  The B unit recently went through Iowa and I'm wondering if they're going to resume using them again as they haven't for a while.

I have a question:

There are just 4 passenger cars on this train.  It would seem as though the A & B F-units would provide more than enough power.  What is the purpose of the red, more modern locomotive?

Thanks, Jack

The lead f unit is gone, the first set may have been failing, the second biz train set power was worked on in 2017
