It took the train a couple hours to get out of the yard, navigate around the UP, and finally head up the hill, on the former Milwaukee Road (Tacoma & Eastern) trackage southbound The train is seen heading upgrade in the morning. It's now late morning
The East 46th Street is the last grade crossing before the train descends the hill for the tideflats, here 7001 passes a flowering quince bush Finally TMBL 7002 ascends the hill, for a second time, destined for E 85th Street Jonathan Fischer West Seattle, WA Edited 3 time(s). TMBL 7002 was again spotted southbound, this time at Waller Road, in Allison, Washington After switching, TMBL pushed back on the south leg of the wye in Fredrickson, with Mount Rainier in the background Jonathan Fischer West Seattle, WA Edited 1 time(s). The grit in the material is to help prevent an employee from slipping or falling when working on those surfaces.
