Nostalgia & History > Santa Fe B23-7 on Canyon Diablo bridgeDate: 03/24/23 11:23 Santa Fe B23-7 on Canyon Diablo bridge Author: gcm Oct 94
Crossing the 1946 built bridge over the canyon (Arizona). Stone foundations from the original 1882 bridge can be seen to the left. This place was certainly worth the 4-5 mile rough "rocky" road from the nearest pavement to get here. The very famous Meteor Crater is not very many miles from this place. And the meteorite fragments found around there are officially called the Canyon Diablo meteorites. |
