NJT Over and Under
Author: cr2581

The Erie heritage Geep has been running on the Atlantic City Line for the past several weeks. I was lucky enough to get a brightly decorated light rail train passing underneath at Pennsauken, NJ yesterday. The Erie is on train 4685 bound for Atlantic City while the light rail vehicle is headed to Camden from Trenton. Business as usual in the Garden State.

Enjoy !

Nice catch! Enjoy seeing the NJT Atlantic City line in action. Wish NJT would get serious about an expansion of passenger rail, particularly in south and central NJ - Monmouth-Ocean-Mercer (MOM) Line or Philly to Millville via Glassboro and Vineland. But that ain't happening considering NJT rail fares are going up in July as it is. Not sure where all the money goes in that state! Just unreal! Thankfully, they don't seem to have any supply chain issues that hampers locomotives and passenger rail cars from operating on the lines. Just occasional rail labor shortages to side line staff.

NJT is expected to cancel / postpone one engineer class, I read. They are apparently at what they consider full staffing.

Very nice. I find the police observation tower interesting as well.
