Passenger Trains > Some More Fun With SEPTA 280Date: 04/28/24 16:03 Some More Fun With SEPTA 280 Author: PC1073 I certainly didn't anticipate chasing a SEPTA MU around in the spring of 2024,
but with SEPTA jumping into the Heritage game, here we are. Three more recent images of the 280. Now I just need to get this thing along the old Reading stations that still stand along SEPTA. Rumor is that the Penn Central is next out, we'll see. 1) Siting in the evening at Chestnut Hill East (lighting assistance from Michael T. Burkhart and John Gabriel) 2) Reading on the Pennsy. Under the signal bridge at Holmesburg Station, along the NEC. 3) rounding the corner approaching Torresdale Station, along the NEC. It's kind of funny that there were 3 of us there, with a total of 10 Allien Bee Strobes owned between us, and not one was to be had. Who would ever have thought! Too bad Rich Pattison isn't around to see this! Rich was probably the most avid Septa fan out there ten years ago. I have some old Septa Timetables that have that "face" on them. Gonut Date: 05/02/24 10:43 Re: Some More Fun With SEPTA 280 Author: ns1000 Nice pics!!
