Eastern Railroad Discussion > Sunday Night @ Black River & Western

Made a quick trip to Ringoes and Flemington for the night photo session
at the Black River & Western.  Featured were the 752 (making its last
appearance in Red), and the 1202.  The lighting was static and handled
by Dan Drennen.  It was a quite enjoyable night, and here's a few images
to share.  Hope everyone likes them.
First three at Flemington, followed by three from Ringoes, to wrap up the evening.

3 more from Ringoes to follow.

Those who may be familiar with the location (Ringoes Station) and have a keen eye
for detail, will note something missing from a few of these pictures.  AI was used for
people removal, and lead to a little more going away.  It's pretty seamless, I think.

John, Do you know what scheme they're going to paint on the 752?   Green like the switcher or the black one?

I do not. Supposedly red was still to be featured somehow, but that’s not something I’m certain of.

Sounds like that former Northern Pacific GP9 is being well taken care of.   The paint is worn a bit but I'm sure she will look outstanding in new paint.

Thanks for sharing the photos and info with us here on TO.

Great bunch with a really nice lighting setup.

Well done - First-rate night shots.

Nice work. I like the framing in your last three images.

One of my favorite units. The paint has held up very well. When did VTR paint it, the 1990's? Maybe earlier?

It was painted in 1985 or 1986 as Clarendon & Pittsford  #752.
