CN Rail train E20131-23 derailed 26 cars on Thursday, November 24, at approximately 09:10 EDT.

The incident, which occurred near Redmond, ON on the Caramat Subdivision of the CN main line, affected trains running between Winnipeg and Toronto.

The site was cleared by 22:30 EDT on Friday, November 25. No injuries were reported and no hazardous materials leaked as a result of the incident.

Transport Canada is conducting an investigation into the CN Rail derailment.
