CN Rail Holding Shareholder Meeting Outside Canada for First Time

Canadian National Railway Co. says it will hold the company's annual meeting this spring in Memphis, Tenn., the first time the gathering of shareholders will be held outside Canada.

CN spokesman Mark Hallman said the Montreal-based company sees itself as a continental railway, not Canadian, and noted that 45 per cent of its current shareholders are American, compared with 52 per cent who are Canadian.
