CN Routes Affected by High Water Conditions in MB, SK

High water conditions caused by spring thaw in some regions of Manitoba and Saskatchewan are currently affecting rail operations as follows:

- Letellier subdivision, Winnipeg to Emerson, MB
The line is closed at Morris, MB and south to the US border, affecting service to local customers. Traffic normally routed to the BNSF through Emerson, MB to Noyes, ND, is being re-routed through Ranier, MN. Track is expected to re-open by Monday, April 24th.

- St. Brieux subdivision, Humboldt to Melfort, SK:
The line is closed at mile 33.5, north of Lake Lenore. Track is expected to reopen by Tuesday, April 18th.

- Tisdale subdivision, east of Melfort, SK:
The line is closed at mile 69, near station Tisdale. Track is expected to reopen by Tuesday, April 18th.

- Assiniboine subdivision, Canora, SK to The Pas, MB:
Track was passable on Saturday, April 15th and is now back in service.

- Swan River spur, Swan River to Minitonas, MB:
This line is closed. Track is expected to be reopened on Monday, April 17.
