VIA Rail Canada's Halifax employees are pleased to host a spring fashion show and silent auction to benefit the Nova Scotia chapter of the Children's Wish Foundation.

"VIA's Halifax team has a long tradition of community involvement, and this event is a great example," says Ron Jackson, a member of VIA's Customer Services team in Halifax. "Not only were they keen to organize a fundraiser for this worthy cause - some of them will also be models in the show."

The fundraiser will take place at VIA's Halifax Station, at 1161 Hollis St., on Wednesday, May 10. CTV personality Liz Rigney will host the fashion show, with additional entertainment provided by the Irish River Dancers, jazz pianist Steve Dooks and legendary local music duo Sam Moon and Rick Gautreau.

Refreshments will be provided by Atlantic Superstore and by Nova Scotia wineries Sainte-Famille, Jost Vineyards, Gaspereau Vineyards and Domaine de Grand Pr
