A Couple Fall Color Photos, Montana and Illinois
Author: Mautner

Hello, here are a couple fall color photos. First is a MRL helper set on the headend of BNSF HPASKCK ,seen east of Bozeman Montana. Although there is snow on the ground, you will notice fall colors on the bushes and grasses along the tracks.

This next was taken Friday Oct 28th 2005. It shows The CN/IC L-546 job southbound at Belleville Illinois, on the IC St. Louis District. As you can see we don't get the great fall colors here in the midwest,if you want great fall colors I would go Northeast of the Pacific Northwest not here.

A day late for the contest (darn it!), but very nice shots nonetheless!
Thanks for sharing.

Well, looks like they let you slide! Congrats on your winner. It is a very cool (in more than one way) pic!
