Great pictures, Dave!!! What memories those bring back of my three days in Raton on a SOUTHWEST CHIEF layover.

Then, you had the ATSF, BN, then, nearby, the DRGW--and--went a little further to the narrow gauge Cumbres and Toltec Scenic steam railroad. What a summer--back when I was a young fellow, instead of an old fart. :-)

It appears that those GE "AC's" that SP purchased just before the merger have proven to be quit successful as they have been around many years and pulled many tons many miles.
