RINGLING BROS. and BARNUM & BAILEY Circus is coming! http://www.Ringling.com 151.625 is the Circus Train Operations radio frequency (per the FCC) Circus Train Yahoo Group: http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/CircusTrain/ _________________________________________________________________ RED UNIT -- 58 CARS -- 137th EDITION (on the 1st half of its 2-year tour). SEE: http://ringling.com/explore/137/ ): Sept. 24 -- Sacramento CA to Salt Lake City UT. (Union Pacific RR.) ____________________________________________________________________ RED UNIT: Remaining Tour Dates for 2007 (1st year of 2-year tour of the 137th Edition): Salt Lake City, UT Sep 26 - Sep 30 Denver, CO Oct 04 - Oct 14 Cleveland, OH Oct 19 - Oct 28 Rosemont, IL Nov 01 - Nov 11 Chicago, IL Nov 13 - Nov 25 Huntsville, AL Nov 29 - Dec 02 December 3 and 4: "Home [Train-] Run" to Orlando FL (layover/vacation); 137th Edition to resume 2nd half of 2-year tour with a January 4, 2008 opening in Miami FL. ____________________________________________________________________ Each RBBB "railroad show" takes each Edition on a TWO-YEAR TOUR. This began in 1969, with the Red Unit's "99th Edition" just after the Feld Family came into control of the show, having purchased it from the Ringling-North Family in 1968. Current RBBB Edition Numbers for the two railroad shows are measured from the show's first year, 1871. DISCLAIMER: All train-run ["jump"] dates presume each train departs the morning [or day] after the closing preforming date. ALL Circus Train-runs can change timing and/or routing WITHOUT NOTICE, even after they have departed their initial terminal, due to the often-unpredictable nature of railroading, in general -- the primary reason RBBB cannot honestly publish their rail-routing prior to a jump. |
