RBBX 63001, the Blue Unit's PIE CAR (Circus Diner), should be a good TRACE number, if someone can follow along...

I came to work at 7:45 and it was long gone. Must be enroute to Bakersfield. Hope someone will post when the Tehachapi Cam picks it up

It stopped at Goshen for a crew change at approx. 08:30 hours then moved down the track at a good pace. For the third year in a row, UP put dirty motive power on the point. This year a SD 60M, followed by a Dash 840CW and a very nice SD70M with wings and flags.

So much for using car marks for tracing purposes. I do agree this is a "sensitive" train move, but I hope paranoia doesn't go overboard either. There are lines to draw; I don't know if the Circus is one of them.

Regardless, the train is moving, and I'm looking forward to seeing results of whomever got good pics/videos. From the latest Tehachapi Cam here at TO.com, visibility and sunlight appear fine. QUESTION about the CAM: would it only display the units up front? What about the train?---could the CAM "hold" a shot long enough to see the coaches stretched out around the curves in the background?

Yeah, that's what happens if you click on a link that takes you to UPRR's site. However, if you right click and select "Open in New Window" then it will work.

They must have caught on because "Opening in new window" is not working on either site, it returns the "Unavailable" screen as well.
