Doug Forness Date: 08/05/02 11:50 Re: santa fe caboose Author: Tex-Hogger That caboose is just used as a shoving platform. What Jerry got was the 106 job in Temple. They do all the "city" work in town. There is only like 6 or 8 customers that need switched everday in town. They also go to the fuel pad and pull all the bad orders that all the thru trains set out. It's usually a 12 hour job, the worst ind. to switch is Pac-Tev (ex Mobil Chem.) where they have 10 to 20 plastic hoppers that need to be pulled, re-spoted, and switched. It's north of Industral Blvd. on the Ft. Worth sub. They also work Wilson Art on the "308" lead that crosses over Loop 363 on the north side of town.
