Not the greatest photo but unusual to see a BNSF SD-9 around these parts. Anyone know where the unit was going and for what purpose? It and the unit just ahead of it were DIT.

Is the BNSF still running SD-9's? The oldest units I see in California are GP30's. If still active what would it be used for?
