Western Railroad Discussion > UP Hallam (NE) Branch QuestionsDate: 05/23/08 06:09 UP Hallam (NE) Branch Questions Author: cdub I'm wondering if the UP still leases the ex-RI Fairbury to Hallam branch from the Mid States Port Authority, or if they ever purchased it outright and when? Also, does anybody know when UP built the wye in Fairbury between the Hallam branch and the east leg of the Marysville Sub?
