This exhibit focuses on the photographic accomplishments of Ted Rose (1940-2002) who was more well known for his stunning watercolors, but who also was an excellent photographer. It features 40 photographs, one painting, and essays by friends of Rose and experts on his work. Between 1956 and 1962, Rose followed trains and rode the rails in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Guatemala. His black and white photographs taken during the journeys capture the last days of active steam railroading.
This exhibition will open Monday January 26 and stay up through the end of April. Date: 01/25/09 13:21 Re: OW Link Museum-Ted Rose Photography Exhibit Author: P Cool. I plan on going there next month.
