A total stranger to these parts

I have not seen a cnw unit in real life since 01. caught this 1 in belen today

I think there are only two left and they have been MU'd together for awhile now working Ill area.

Those are the un-patched 8701 and 8646...I am curious about the patched ones...still in CNW paint though!

So it would appear. Perhaps that is the flue damper for the prime mover.

According to utahrails.net it was CNW 8808, became UP 6710 in October 2003.

Nice catch.

TopCat, I think the CNW yellow looks much better than UP's :-)
