BNSF C-4 question.

Went west last trip on the Z-NYCLAC-9 out of KC. Got off at Wellington, tied up, and walked out to the parking lot to find my old car. As this train pulled away from the yard office, I noticed a tiny red light, probably an LED glowing brightly on the journal end cap or pedestal, on the L-5 axle on our third unit, 6605. Never noticed one of these before. Anyone ever seen this at night, or know what it's for?

Just a guess, but could be some sort of indication light that the axle raising feature is in operation or not?
