UP Global 4 update
Author: dt8089

Work has progressed on this large facility at Joliet IL. The big cut east of Stepan Road is taking shape. Millsdale Road bridge over the ROW is in and roadway approaches from each side are graded. The pads for loading/unloading trains are for the most part done. Grading for the north leads into the IM pads is done and it looks like track may go in before the snow flies. Attached are a couple of views looking north from the new Millsdale Road bridge. The telephoto compression distorts the distance between the north end and south end which is at 8000 feet.
A source from UP stated that this facility will serve all Golden State Route intermodal business. Take care. Dan Tracy

So far, a useless post because of lack of geographical identification.

I believe it says it's at Joliet, IL, isn't that
geographical identification?
