Unneeded Auto Racks.

Wonder how many days the morons needed to trash that auto rack? It was the head car in an 8000' train goin' for storage on the Towner (CO.) line. The train was tied down just west of Olney Springs. Room for about 4 more of these things before you foul NA Jct.

Finished with the auto racks the eng. ar. NA Jct. to wait on a track gang for abt. 2 hrs.

They have been pulling train loads of autoracks of off the Phoenix Sub lately. On the west end was a 30 mile string of them. I have heard the left Phoenix for Mexico then came back north with new autos.

When we went through in the last week of July this year, we counted about 880 auto racks stored on the towner line - out west.
