well here is the sd45 in the shop thats in for motive power problems. the pistons were out. unfortuatally my shots came out bad. and the large lathe for turning wheels on the locomotives.

and here is the toledo hauler getting set to be serviced

next we have a gp39 cold starting, so steam is alive.

Great Tour, that makes three years in a row that I've missed the event. Or one out of the last fifteen or so that I was able to get to.

Are those BN GP39's or Santa Fe GP39's? I don't know the details that well.

Nice looking collection of 80's equipment. Are they holding out for the last missing lights on those SD9's?

The GP39s are ex-Santa Fe, 3600 - 3616. The 1854 had the full light package before being redone so what you see is it.

Great shots. What is the square object on top of either end of the locomotive above the lights. I don't think I have ever seen something like that before.

thats just the spot where the old gyralite was located
