Author: frontrangeflyer It still looked like the Rio Grande near the North Yard office in March of '92. You couldn't count on it looking this good every time, but this was one of the better afternoons. I think the neon Rio Grande sign was gone by this time. . . Joe S.

She was teamed with the 3018 for a long time on the Long Belt job. That job was my afternoon rendevous many a day. They were usually switching the box plant which had them poising on the Platte River bridge when I got there about 3:50PM or so. . . Joe S.

Author: Larry576 Joe just to let you know Hartwell also has 3021 (although out of service for 2 years at least - also painted the same as 3016) and untouched DRGW GP35 3044. They just got her running again after 2 years. Still wears the small Rio Grande lettering with AEI tag intact and no ditch lights. I shot her yesterday teamed up with an ex B&LE SD7.
