few favorite warbonnets . .
Author: 3rdswitch

. . from my first full year in our new home in Colorful Colorado and particularly along the Joint Line. With seventy five percent of traffic on this line coal loads and empties Warbonnets are few and far between.
top: southbound stack train south of Monument.
middle: from sun to rain in less than an hour at Tomah, welcome to Colorado.
bottom: and my favorite warbonnet chase this past year was southbound HDENAMS climbing out of Castle Rock.
It was a very good year. Thanks for looking back.
JB

Nice job - great stuff! At least the Joint Line has lots of trains of any kind - The Front Range Sub up here requires a lot more time and patience, sometimes just to see ANY train! === === = === JLH

Very nice, friends of ours used to live in Castle Rock and I think I could have spent a lot of time trackside through there, nice scenery and plenty of trains.
