UP Symbols

Is there any way to get the train symbols for a train. Going to the UP publc trace http://my.uprr.com/pub/pet/index.shtml only tells where the trains are and where they are going to. Is there a place to find out the train symbol i.e. ZSEME-30. Thanks

Hello and how are you. If you seek train Symbols , then may i suggest the Altamont press railfans guide. For where ever you live in the west there is a railfans timetable published by Altamont press. You can go to WWW.altamontpress.com . I hope this helps

You'd have to work for UP to access the UPRR Secure site only the
crew members can find what units are on what train.
