Western Railroad Discussion > UP4141 at NLR

I am going to be passing through Little Rock, AR in a few weeks and was curious.... Where UP usually parks the 4141, is it better light for the unit in the AM or PM?

Enter the main parking lot off Pike Ave (State Route 365), I believe the street is 8th Street. It is where the DDA40X is displayed. Take the parking lot enterance road straight thru the parking lot and it is on the right after the parking lot. It is parked on the left most "stall" right next to that parking lot. I believe it is positioned for better light in the PM hours.

So, is it outside, or inside a building? Headed back east this Fall to SC to see the Grandson & family.

Sitting outside, where it's been for a lon-n-n-g time!

Thanks for the info. Last Year we stopped by to spot it, but looking at Google now I see we went East instead of West. We looked at the Eng Facility over off 13th East of I30 (photo). Gonna give it another try this Fall. Satview shows it right next to the parking area. Easy to spot the white roof/blue sides vs regular gray.

Sorry about that...its outside stall...if you take the driveway into the parking lot, keep driving, you will see it on the right.

Just stick it through the fence and shoot! Of course this was a cloudy day around....I second the thought that PM is the best to shoot, then u can get the 6938 too!
