Western Railroad Discussion > Shades of FallDate: 10/23/11 16:28 Shades of Fall Author: Jefflocal Well maybe just one shade. I got lucky today with a train
that doesn't normally work weekends and a tree that loses it's leaves very quickly. Here's Portland & Western 2305 rolling along the Willamette River (the river is about 100 feet beyond the engine) at Albany,OR with the aptly named Albany hauler. This train and crew is only a couple of miles from the end of it's run to Eugene and back. Hope you enjoy this view of fall from Oregon. Geoff B. The Willamette Valley is a beautiful place during Fall, especially along the PNWR lines!
