It's a shame NS didn't pick a stock EMD or GE unit....This scheme will make for a challenging modeling project!!!!

Except for the NS 6920 in the lead, I'm not sure which units actually powered the westbound train directly from the NS in Chicago but the train was also reported to have done some work at LPC, Logistics Park Chicago, just southwest of Joliet, IL before the arrival in Fort Madison Iowa yard. Fort Madison is one of the smaller yards on the BNSF TransCon used for "block swapping" of stack trains. So there might have been some locos in this photo that were added after the train arrived in Fort Madison or LPC? I'll leave the details to others that have direct real time access to the BNSF computer system.
Last I heard from a friend in Galesburg, IL the Vet unit, NS 6920, was headed back east on the BNSF at 1:00 PM 11/21.

The NS units were a pair coming into FTM, the three BNSF GEs were set out on top of them and used elsewhere later...
