Western Railroad Discussion > a River of AutosDate: 12/10/12 11:30 a River of Autos Author: santafe199 After the Roundtable dinner in Kansas City this past Thursday evening I passed through the West Bottoms and discovered an interesting scene. A rail grinder was working in these night time hours and I immediately thought of photo opportunities. Already at the scene was fellow TO member ATSF2921. We banged away with our tripods darting around here & there. Russell (Honey) shot some great stuff but I wasn't very impressed with the shots I was getting of the grinder, so I shifted my attention to shooting signals and other scenes with various angles & focal lengths.
Here's a composition I kinda like... 1. KCT West Bottoms scene looking NNE from 25th St in the West Bottoms of Kansas City, MO on December 6, 2012. Thanks for looking!
