When is the first BNSF reroute from Klamath Falls, OR?
Author: RyanWilkerson

I haven't seen any BNSF trains come through Dunsmuir yet but I haven't been glued to the tracks so maybe some have slipped through already. Are there any BNSF trains heading south from K Falls or heading north through Dunsmuir tomorrow?
Will they be using BNSF symbols and if so, what might the typical trains be each way this week?
Any help is appreciated!

H-BARPAS1-14D with BNSF 5005, 4139 and 5120. Next train after that shows to be a H-VAWBAR1-14A that departed Chemult at 1929 hours with BNSF 4345, 4689, 746, 1015 and 4066.

Thanks Blake for the location update.

Matt, the H-BARPAS1-14D...would that be a Barstow to Pasco train heading north?

And H-VAWBAR1-14A, would that be a Vancouver, WA to Barstow train?

Are all of the reroute trains mixed freight or might we see intermodal or unit trains of some kind?

Thanks guys!

Where are they detouring from and to? We noted a BNSF entering the North end of UP's Portland Albina yard yesterday. Maybe this was just a normal transfer. Not sure and the power was too far to get numbers.

Rob,
I believe it's between Klamath Falls, OR and Stockton, CA.

Yes it is.

Yes it is as well.

Right now it looks like all mixed freight trains. I would imagine some grain trains should start showing up as well.

Rob,

You are seeing the M-EVEABN (Manifest-Everett, Wash. to Albina, Ore. (PDX)....

Most of these cars are going to be on the next Q-PDRV train..

The northbound counterparts are the M-RVPT (Manifest-Roseville, Calif. to Portland, Ore. (Lake Yard-BNSF) on the UP.

The M-LYDVBT (Manifest-Portland, Ore. [Lake Yard-BNSF] to Vancouver, BC [Thornton Yard-CN(???)]) on the BNSF I-5 corridor.
