Date: 02/28/01 17:42 RE: phoenix sub Author: Hallawell Let's see... from east to west (Ash Fork to Phoenix) on the Peavine there is Hell Gate Canyon Bridge that goes OVER a canyon, there's a small canyon between Skull Valley and Kirkland, there's the reverse horseshoe curves below Grandview that disappear into a small canyon (access to Grandview and below is extremely difficult), and there's a small defile as the Santa Fe crosses the Hassayampa river below Wickenburg.

Date: 03/01/01 14:09 RE: Hell Canyon Author: WSFrench I thought Hell canyon was pretty good on the North side for
Northbounds. But if it has been raining, avoid the place. It can be real difficult to traverse thru the trees to get within eyeshot of the bridge. But it is one hell of a canyon. <grin> Bill |
