As SP8595 stated below, there is reroutes on the KP today. After a heads up from him, History Buff, and nwkrailfan, I was ready.

#1 is the MDVSI, Manifest Den. to Salina, KS. This was taken coming up to the Salt Mine RD. East of Kanopolis.
#2 is a going away shot of same train with UP 5581 on point and 5699, 4297 following.
#3 is the MSIDV, Manifest Salina to Den. coming thru Ellsworth, KS. It was cloudy all day with a fine mist
all the time. These are not reroutes, regular weekly trains. UP 4365, CSX with 2 more UP engines. 4810,

Now starts the reroutes
#6 UP 6525, 5658,3891 at Ells., EB as the MDVCY-15 ( Den.-Cheyenne.) with several double stacks on front half
and some grain cars and tank cars mixed in.

The trains have to slow down for point facing switches and be prepared to stop if necessary and as you can see, in the last pic., the engineer is pouring on the fuel. Oops, forgot the pics. upkpfan

#13 Another reroute here with UP 7622,8028,4426,6020 on the WB ZSCDVD-13 ( Premium Intermodal-Salt Lake City-
Denver-Detour). A little heavier mist and getting a little dark as it is 7:05 pm, 1 mile South of US 40 Hwy
West of Black Wolf, KS. This train also met the EB CLEBR2-16 ( a little ahead of itself) with UP patched
SP 6306, UP 7788 at Wolf Siding.

At your service. Thank you. They have been on here before in the mid 90s I believe it was. Had a HOT Z train from Houston to Denver and back. Every one in a while, they send some our way to keep us entertained. upkpfan
