This is a 20 unit order.

What are "P6's"?

The new EMD option to have individual axle control with inverters on each axle instead of the normal one per truck.

Will this be added to the 100 ordered units this year or part of the existing order if anyone would know?

In addition to the 180 ordered, believe these are replacements for the flawed P4 program.

Is there really going to be a different model designation for a feature that should have been standard long ago, or is calling these locomotives P6's just a railfan thing?

P6 is EMD's designation, not a railfan term.

There are 180 standard ACe's coming this year plus 20 P6's now for 200 total units? Can we read between the lines and assume that the P4 idea is dead or is on hold?

I heard that the BNSF will be testing the P4's out in Colorado again. I guess EMD has made some tweaks to it. Not to say that anyone will order them, but they're certainly not dead... yet.

They have/had 275 Gevo's on order. With all the oil business, this may have increased.

Both plants for the GEs.

I thought the GEVOs on order/being delivered are C4s?

Hope they are not C4's , those stink on heavy trains
