Western Railroad Discussion > Well... I found UP 1982

Thanks to a Kevin "ColoradoRailfan" for the heads up text, I was able to race out the door and catch up to the empty windmill train that has UP 1982 trailing. I thought they were moving north still until I saw them stopped at Longs Peak. My original plan was to get them at Campion and maybe Trilby Road near Fort Collins but I have work later this morning and had to stay close to home. Anyways, here's what I was able to get. Even though it wasn't leading, still nice to catch a UP Heritage Unit on the old C&S here!

I do not think that will be the case due to the "Colorado computer curse"

Great shots, John! I was on my way to work when I heard it had been at Broomfield at 6am waiting for a northbound. I was headed that way, hoping it may still be there when I heard DS ask them for a location. They replied MP 37. If only they had been two hours slower. Glad you got them though!
