There isn't an 'SP Saturday' here on TO, but, its not every day one can find an SP painted locomotive leading a revenue train, so, I hope you'll make an exception!

While out looking/waiting for UP's engineering special to return to Council Bluffs from Des Moines today, my shooting partner 'KCCharlie' and I happened to find UP train MKCCB01 with an SP painted C44AC on point.

A quick change in direction put us on the fast track for a mini-chase within a chase, which resulted in us catching the train 3 times before returning to find the passenger train.

1. Speed Lettering earns its name; and looks quite sharp as the train rolls along US HWY 73 near Huron, KS
2. Rounding the bend East of Everest, KS the train is making good speed, and will arrive Council Bluffs before nightfall
