Western Railroad Discussion > Another Busy Day On The BNSF Lakeside Sub.

Today was a warm day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub at 89 degrees, only to get warmer thru the next week.
Was a normal busy day with no work windows. Here are some of the trains that passed by last evening and today.

1. EB 742pm #28 Empire Builder with 112 on the point.
2. Another shot of #28 rolling thru Ritzville, WA.
3. WB 753pm intermodal train with BNSF 4049-4549 on the point.

4. WB 818am coal train with BNSF 6704-9274-6375 on the point and DPU.
5. Another shot of point power on same train.
6. WB 955am #27 Empire Builder with 98 on the point 5hrs late.

7. EB 1010am grain train with BNSF 5087-4519 and CP 8844 on the point, no DPU.

8. WB 1057am grain train with BNSF 5484 and CitiRail 1336 on the point, and warbonnet 742 as DPU.

11. WB 1119am grain train with BNSF 5824-961 on the pull, DPU on the rear.
12. A older NP woodchip car with Northern Pacific trying to reappear on a manifest train. Sorry for the R rated graffiti.

13. WB 1237pm oil train with BNSF 9115 and green and cream 9710 on the point along with DPU BNSF 8808.

16. WB 106pm "Q" train with BNSF 6885 and CP 8883 on the point.

18. EB 410pm grain train with BNSF 4193 on the point with CSX 5232 in the mix, no DPU.
19. CSX 5232 slipping away.
20. EB 421pm manifest train with BNSF 6645 on the front pull.

21. WB 435pm manifest train with BNSF 4357-7003 on the point.
22. Same power rolling over old 1939 US10 overpass. I saw a picture of that overpass in 1941 and it had in big letters NORTHERN PACIFIC written across it instead of graffiti of today.
23. DPU 6272 on same train crossing old US10 bridge.

NO, I caught your train in my bathrobe in my backyard, LOL. You're train caught me by surprise.
