BU CT: Oakland CA to San Jose CA - 08/19/2014
BLUE CONSIST: 61 Cars = 4 Stocks, 36 Coaches, 2 COFC, 19 Flats. (Total 260 axles less power)

ROUTINGS AND TIMES ARE UNPREDICTABLE, a lot can change during departure, although the CT’s are to run ahead of schedule if the host RR’s can accommodate. NPR: Oakland to Milpitas: LOCATIONS OF INTEREST: East Oakland Yard, 98th Ave. Oakland, Niles Sub., Alameda Creek (Niles Blvd), Hayward, Freemont Station , Warm Springs, Niles Junction, Warm Springs Sub., Milpitas, CP (Control Point) Arena. UP’s Warm Springs Subdivision (CA) from Milpitas to San Jose.
UP (Possible UPBUCTID - SOASJ-19) is to be the carrier to San Jose with the movement as in “2013”. Coaches usually spotted at Milpitas in the vicinity of the 237 E. Calaveras Boulevard Overpass, Milpitas, CA. Unloading Flats at East Hedding St & North 9th St. Stocks at San Jose for off loading near the HP Pavilion, spur on N. Montgomery Street, W St. John Street, (N Autumn Street) for the animal walk to the HP Pavilion. Four Stocks to move off the Warm Springs Subdivision onto the new north lead into the Milpitas Rail Yard to join up with the rest of the CT. Hope this will be helpful in following the movements in San Jose.

Its moved but still sitting at the end of the oakland yard as of 10:10. Think they are still loading tents and fencing from parking lot.

UPDATE – 08/19/2014
What we have received as of this Post Time (07:17 PM EDT).
09:30 AM PDT = FLATS loaded and are staged at 85th Avenue, Oakland.
09:30 AM PDT = STOCKS and COACHES are at East Oakland.
10:30 AM PDT = STOCKS and COACHES on a siding north of 29th Avenue, Oakland.
11:00 AM PDT = FLATS being moved passed 29th Avenue to be assembled to the COACHES.
02:15 PM PDT = BUCT by Niles Junction (29.7) and on the Warm Springs Subdivision.

left Fruitvale around 1 pm. as of 1:30 pm had not arrived Elmhurst.

Are they taking the train up the peninsula this year, or will they be trucking the show north for the week like they did last year?
