One from a crystal clear Saturday

Attached is a shot of one of the five trains that passed through the Portneuf River valley east of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, on UP's Pocatello Sub, in the space of two hours today. Train is westbound manifest MGRPC, Green River-Pocatello, a half mile or so west of the siding at Pebble. Nearly new SD70ACe 8892 was on the point of the 99-car train. I couldn't have asked for a nicer day to be trackside!

Very pretty through there and during my visit to Lava Hot Springs in 2012, plenty of action!
