How busy is UP's Reno Branch these days?

Hello to All,

I've got a trip coming up to Reno and curious about the branch line running north out of Sparks. What's the daily train count, traffic type, what sort of power? Any info appreciated!

The Reno Branch Local runs everyday (Monday through Friday). If you refer to a Nostalgia & History post from 8/22/2014 (Reno Branch 1994), BLEhogger gave a great rundown of the local's current activities. Sorry, but I don't know how to post a direct link. I believe that the local leaves the Sparks yard, most days, about 8am. Good luck with the chase.
