BNSF Monster Stack Train Hill 582 Cajon Pass
Author: gjc

I didn't get the head end power of either train. Video recorded on 10/8/14 just after 12pm. Music dubbed in near the end of the video.

Shortly after arriving at Hill 582 I heard an east bound train approaching and could see a west bound just passing Silverwood on main 2. My gear wasn't set up yet and I ended up missing the head end power for both trains. After the west bound power went by I looked over at Silverwood and noticed the DPUs had stacks behind it. That's when I hurried to get my quad copter ready to go as well. Even though I missed the head end power for this train I knew I had to document the rest of this BNSF monster stack train, something I hadn't seen before with BNSF.

Here's goneon66 thread that was posted earlier on the subject-

Awesome, I suspect that by the time the tail end went by the leaders were pulling into the Barstow yard LOL

Great video, George. Even with one stopped, awesome catch on the three train meet along with the monster stack train.

Very well done pace with the 'eye in the sky'.

Thanks for sharing,

~Ryan

Nice video. However,I dont much care for music on railroad videos. Just my 2 cents worth.
