An Easy Thanksgiving Day On The BNSF
Author: Ritzville

Today started out at a sunny mild 40 degrees up to a mild 56 until the cool wind started blowing in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. Was not much traffic today, mostly ran all night like streetcars. This will be an abbreviated version today with Thanksgiving festivities on call. Was a nice surprise meeting with another TO member and friend earlier today. Here's a couple of the four or five trains that have run thru the backyard today.

1. EB 114pm Mix or grain train, I took bad notes, with BNSF 4419 and warbonnet 247 on the point.
2. EB 258pm Manifest train with BNSF 6354-7915-4565 and green and cream 9623 on the point with a friendly wave from the conductor.
3. Another shot of same train.

Sorry had the wrong ISO on the pictures.

4. EB 322pm auto/intermodal train with BNSF 6272-4558 on the pull with DPU.
5. DPU Citirail 1329 on the push of same train.

That's all for now. Have a great Thanksgiving day and thanks so much for looking! There's a lot to be thankful for.

Larry

I just saw your second train a little bit ago. The intermodal has yet to come by. Sure don't see DPU on intermodal trains very often.

That's the second one I've seen this week.
