What went wrong? I was out there with a tie gang and it was all surfaced up... Oh wait, that was in 1981.... I'll bet almost none of the ties my gang put in new then is even in the track now. When we worked there everything had to be buttoned up by early afternoon because it was time for the Blue Streak Merchandise. Things were simple, there was no negotiation about delaying or re-routing the BSM. |
